Susan Farlee

Susan joined the PSST team in February 2015 with 35+ years’ experience as Hickman County Schools Finance Officer. She brings a vast background to her role in Client Success, including 25+ years of experience with Munis®.
As a Senior Client Success Advisor, Susan assists clients with the successful implementation of software, technical support, ongoing product usage analysis, data quality assurance and all manners of K-12 financial reporting. You’ll benefit greatly from her knowledge and experience by attending the PSST K-12 Academy Training sessions Susan will co-lead, which include “Making Munis® Workflow Work for You” and “Creating Munis® Salary Projections.”

Making Munis® Workflow Work for You
Design the Flow and Eliminate Waste
Who is tasked with exporting the latest Munis® data for the upcoming report? Where is that report in the sign-off process? Is everyone accessing the newest version of the report?
Finding the answers to questions like these wastes time and resources. You can readily get answers to these questions and more for your reporting by incorporating Munis® Workflow properly. This two-part session will share how to utilize Workflow fully and establish the “who, what, when and where” of a process; automate processes to streamline activities; and set up rules to maintain consistency across like-tasks.
Throughout the training, you will practice execution of workflows to solidify your proficiency and possibly establish a few on your live data before you leave the session.
The end results? Increased efficiency, reduced errors or oversights and saved time.

The versatility of work in his CFO role has brought him to the conclusion, “it’s all about how you communicate the numbers!” This PSST Academy K-12 Training session will bring to light:

- providing the transparent and timely data necessary to substantiate actions; and

FUN IN LOUISVILLE:
Louisville’s Whiskey Row
Historical Entertainment
Maybe you’ve heard of Louisville’s “Urban Bourbon Trail,” but did you know it all began in a historic district known as “Whiskey Row”? In 1780, Mr. Evan Williams brought his first whiskey to market and by 1920, the number of distilleries in and around Louisville’s Main Street had numbered in excess of 50. It was during this era that this stretch of Louisville became known as “Whiskey Row.”
What remains of Whiskey Row today are the historic Revivalist and Chicago School-Style buildings with cast-iron storefronts dating from 1852 to 1905. In addition to the preserved architecture, the area boasts tours and tastings at distillers Angel’s Envy and Evan Williams, as well as a variety of restaurants and retail businesses.
